AUSTRALIANS AND LIFE INSURANCE: MISINFORMED? MISINSURED?

At a time when household budgets are under increasing pressure, a lack of understanding of the role of life insurance can increase the likelihood of poor decision making by customers.

Earlier this year Zurich published a whitepaper ‘Mis-informed, mis-insured?’ which identified considerable confusion about the role played by different types of life insurance. The research also revealed how many people believe private health insurance, workers compensation and even the NDIS are legitimate life insurance substitutes.

To help easily explain the role played by the various types of insurance (life, health and other), Zurich has produced a handy flipchart, in both hard and soft copy formats.

The chart is packed with useful content, including comparison tables, indicative costs, claims data and more.
